What a feeling !

Learning DreamWeaver in 3 days, designing a website in 2 days and working day and night the next two days figuring out how to make it accessible to the whole wide world and finally feeling delighted to see it up on the web without errors. AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ideality

I often wish how good it would be if it were like that or like this. I imagine an ideal life and when I realise that the world differs from my vision of ideality, I get depressed.

But in reality, Ideality for each person is different and it is not necessary that everyone should speak the same language that I do or live in the same ideal world that I do. The trick to actually get out of depression is to never realise that Idealism, as nothing in this world is Ideal. Ideality is an illusion and is best kept that way. The more I try to realise that illusion and bring that to reality, the more I realise that the Ideal state is only an illusion and reality is always different.

BMS ! My Life

"BMS is a an ocean, an ocean of opportunities. We do not expect every student to excel in every field, but we do expect our students to explore every aspect of college life, be it studies, sports or extra curricular activites. Welcome to BMS."

Its been 10 years since I heard this statement which changed my life and yet it is soo fresh in my mind.

This was the unforgettable statement that our Mathematics Professor, Dr.G.N.Shekhar started our first class with in Engineering.Ever since there was no looking back for me.

That very statement changed my life. Be it sports, extra curriculars, academics, I have had the best taste of everything in BMS. What I probably missed out is Ragging, I was never ragged (can u believe it ???) and I didnt rag anyone through the 4 years of my college.

BMS has taught me values, given me the best of friends, whom I can never forget and will remain thankful to them through out my life for being with me through the worst phases of my life. I still remember the day when Sam, a dear friend of mine skipped his internals to donate blood to my father. Thanks a ton Sam, it still means a lot to me.

Those days of association with Illuminati, the wonderful team with a great leader like Kala, the days and nights of hard work to bring back UTSAV to life after a gap of 5 long years and taking a bow in front of that huge audience, I feel nostalgic :)

Not to forget "Chirantana", The Kannada Sangha as we called it, the 101 classroom where we held our events and nurtured it like it was our baby.
